Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the general framework for canceling bookings and requesting refunds for the Turf Scout Player App operated by Oxlac Tech LLP ("we”, "our", or "us"). Please note that specific cancellation terms are set by individual venues and will be clearly displayed before you complete your booking.
1. Venue-Specific Policies
Important: Each venue listed on Turf Scout sets their own cancellation and refund policy. The specific terms that apply to your booking will be clearly shown during the booking process, before you make payment. These venue-specific terms take precedence over any general guidelines mentioned in this policy.
2. Policy Disclosure
Before completing any booking, you will see the venue's specific cancellation policy including:
- Cancellation deadline (e.g., 24 hours, 12 hours, etc.)
- Refund percentage for different time periods
- Processing fees that may apply
- No-show policy
- Weather-related cancellation terms (for outdoor venues)
3. Typical Cancellation Framework
While each venue sets their own terms, many venues follow similar patterns such as:
- Early cancellation (24+ hours): Higher refund percentage
- Late cancellation (less than 24 hours): Reduced or no refund
- No-show: Typically no refund available
- Processing fees: May be deducted from refund amount

3. Refund Processing
- If eligible, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days
- Processing charges may apply and will be deducted from the refund amount
- Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method
- Bank processing times may add additional 2-3 business days
4. How to Cancel a Booking
- Open the Turf Scout app and go to "My Bookings"
- Select the booking you wish to cancel
- Tap 'Cancel Booking' and confirm your cancellation
- You will receive a cancellation confirmation via email
5. Venue-Initiated Cancellations
If a venue cancels your booking due to unforeseen circumstances:
- You will receive a full refund with no processing charges
- Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days
- You will be notified immediately via email and app notification
- We will help you find alternative venues if requested
6. Weather-Related Cancellations
For outdoor venues affected by severe weather conditions, specific cancellation and refund terms may apply as determined by the venue operator and communicated at the time of booking.
